Imprint I
Join us for an unforgettable exploration of the ancient journeys that have shaped humanity.
From Homer’s Odyssey to the bold voyages of explorers like Vasco da Gama, from the spiritual devotion of pilgrimages to Mecca to the epic adventures of Marco Polo, this course invites children to investigate the powerful stories of ancient travel.
We’ll uncover the faith, hope, courage and tragedy behind the world’s most famous (and infamous) journeys — through history, geography and religion — all brought to life through storytelling, debate, art, drama and discovery.
Spanning centuries, we’ll trace how ancient quests for knowledge, faith and adventure paved the way for the great explorations of the early modern world — connecting myths and empires to the first global travellers.
Whether it’s charting a Silk Road map, following in the footsteps of Prince Siddhartha, or performing a scene from an ancient myth, this week promises deep learning, bold thinking and big adventure.
